I really need to get crackin’ on my Christmas shopping, and I’m looking for some ideas for my daughter who will be 7 months old on Christmas.

Answer by Cecily He’ll be 7 months. We’re just going to add to our childrens’ book collection for him and we got him some new clothes and pjs. Our family and friends will no doubt shower him with teddies and toys etc.

The people invited to the shower should know that she’s moving, and will likely understand that’s why this request is being made.

My sister is a little over 3 months pregnant, and she will not know the sex of the baby until Jan. I want to buy a Christmas present. I think I will get a nursery rhyme book but i want to get something else as well. Any ideas?

If you were going to a baby shower would you rather see your present opened as soon as you arrived and then placed on a display table or have it opened together with all the other presents at a set time? What is the reason behind your choice?
Thanks in advance for your answers. I personally don’t know which one I’d prefer. I like seeing all the presents opened but I tend to be impatient to see what the mother to be thinks of my present.

I think that’s more important than setting a cut off date.
