Question by bleweyez20249: Is it to early to give a baby gift to Jewish man?
One of the Doctors that I work with is due to have a baby in a couple of weeks. I am planning a trip to his office this week. I want to purchase him a gift for the baby. However, I remember hearing that the Jewish Religion believes that you don’t prepare for the baby until it is here.
Can someone enlighten me to the beliefs. I don’t want to give him a gift early then have him feel a negative stigma attached to it.

Question by LittlePinkMoose: What is the courtesy for giving a new baby gift?
When a couple has a new baby, do you have to send a gift immediately or is it ok to send it within a few months? A good friend of mine out of state had a baby 2 months ago and I have been searching everywhere for a specific gift I want to get the baby related to her favorite sports team. Part of me feels bad but the baby is still a newborn so I was just curious. I’m going to be visiting her next month so I was planning on bringing it with me then. Is this ok?

Normally the first time you visit the baby you bring the gift. Or if there is a baby shower coming up, you bring it then. However, I think she’ll appreciate the thoughtful gift. She probably receive so many of the same “newborn” gifts, and will appreciate a gift that’s for the baby now that the baby is a wee bit older.

Also, this is your first time visiting so I think it’s fine. It’s more personal to bring it yoruself than to send it anyways.

2008 is the year of the ladies, led by wahu here in this amazing joint titled sweet love, i thought the song was dedicated to her hubby, nameless but seems like its actually for their daughter, Tomiso. the video has been done by newcomers, alternative concepts who are behind the video for the mega hit salari by nameless and mambo bado by wahu. the colors definitely bring forth the warmth and diversity of the kenyan sound and the muliticultural experience that is kenya. the layout is simple, its a perfomance video with scenes of her daughter playing around in the house. wahu is next to her and watches over her. she later on falls down and wahu picks her up and comforts her, she cries for a while and once in her mom’s arms, she relaxes and starts smiling and playing again. now. its her pledging to be there for her daughter always and to comfort her whenever she is in pain. the lovely message is amplified by a lovely performance of the beautiful wahu and her bandmates in a shed. through the whole video a distinct african feel is present. it reminds me of home and the sweet memories of childhood. bottom line……….wahu is amazing and beautiful too!!!!!!! i love this song and its the best out there right now! www.liwani.com

Question by wish: I always get my husband presents from me and another from the baby but?
he never does for me! He forgot my birthday (nothing from either of them) and forgot Valentine’s day too. He didn;t get me anything from baby at Xmas. I have never got a present from the baby yet. It p*sses me off. Am I over-reacting by feeling hurt?
I got the baby to paint him a Valentine’s day card. It is so cute and his first art work.

I have the same problem with my fiance, he doesn’t bother but I like to, I think it’s the way they’re programmed!! lol. I ALWAYS get him somethings from me and then from Ethan but he doesn’t bother getting me anything from our son, and he sometimes doesn’t even bother with my birthday or xmas or valentines day presents!! You are NOT alone and you are certainly NOT over reacting Xx
